More about the program:
The Spring Festival program is devoted to contemporary dance for young audiences and young audiences, as well as to new dance disciplines, the relationship between dance and nature and the announcement of new dance programs and festivals.
The dance show “ALICE / The mad squirrels return” was inspired by American McGee’s video game. Squirrels enter the colorful and wretched world of video games together with Alice. Trying to stay as long as possible in the game, the dancers follow the guidelines set at each level that determine their further moves and keep Alice alive. Alice’s dance performance is concerned with exploring childrens fantasies. Visually peculiarly, narratively illogical, the story is full of hare holes and races over time, reflection of their own body in space and action, pace and maneuver between light and darkness.
